A flapping good flock

BIRDS are an ongoing theme in my artwork. Crows in a Wintry Field was one of my better prints, lauded the length and breadth of the British Isles (bought by a woman from Inverness and another from St Ives in Cornwall).

Like fish, birds are vibrant creatures whose bodily contortions offer endless possibilities for the imaginative creator. They're also colourful - always a plus for anyone armed with gel pens and a tube of acrylic paint.

Here's Flock of Birds, admittedly an unimaginative title, but all I could think of at the time. I make no lofty claims for it, but quite like its exuberance, something to do with the flapping wings.

More birds coming soon.
