Let it snow - but not here in Cornwall!

OKAY, it's like a lovely Spring day here in West Cornwall, but the rest of Britain is slipping and sliding around in freezing slush. Tough on you.

However, in keeping with the festive spirit, and wishing you better fortune in the New Year, I hereby offer my latest creation. Called 'Let It Snow', it captures a bit of the feel of a northern winter and was inspired by scenes on the telly showing snowed-in communities and abandoned cars.

By the way, the first daffodils are beginning to peek through in Penzance and, as I write, bright sunshine is glinting on the rooftops of Falmouth town. Sorry about that.
